Holiday Farm La Colmata

The name of the structure refers to the ancient “colmate” tanks built near the Canale Maestro della Chiana, important drainage works used for the reclamation of land, by the Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo.
The Holiday farm has a total of 24 beds comprised of 8 independent rooms in the farmhouse and 2 annexes located about 20 meters away from the farmhouse. Despite being a centuries-old structure in typical rustic Tuscan style, it is equipped with latest- generation Wi-Fi coverage freely available both inside and outside the entire structure.

Our Outdoor Area

La Colmata is surrounded by a lush garden in which multiple types of trees and colorful flower grow depending on the season. You will be able to admire and contemplate the beauty of nature with its changing cycles, thus letting yourself be enchanted by its sweet scents. Always attentive to customer needs, within our garden we have created a play area for the little ones and for the bigger ones we provide table tennis, a football table and a football pitch. In this way you can spend your time in relaxation and fun. Do you love cycling? We have also thought of this and provide you with the use of courtesy bicycles to venture out to discover the Tuscan landscapes.

The Swimming Pool

La Colmata has a large private swimming pool, surrounded by a garden, reserved exclusively for farm guests. In this area, you will find gazebos, deck chairs, sun beds and also refreshing and fragrant pine trees under which you will be lulled by the birdsong, giving you unforgettable days of relaxation in contact with nature.

Relax Room

At La Colmata you will find a room dedicated to relaxation where it is easy to put your worries aside and to give room to a game of billiards, football, immerse yourself in the reading of an exciting novel while sipping good Tuscan wine or even enjoy playing the piano.
