Farmhouse La Colmata

The name of the property refers to the ancient “colmate,” basins built near the Canale Maestro della Chiana, important hydraulic works carried out for the reclamation of these lands by Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo.
The agriturismo has a total of 24 beds distributed among 8 independent rooms, and approximately 20 meters from the main central structure, 2 annexes are located. Despite being a centuries-old structure, typically in rustic Tuscan style, you will find state-of-the-art Wi-Fi coverage both inside and outside the entire property, available to you completely free of charge.

Our Outdoor Area

La Colmata is surrounded by a lush garden where many types of trees and colorful flowers of all kinds grow, depending on the season. You can admire and contemplate the beauty of nature and its cycles, letting yourself be enchanted by its sweet scents. Always attentive to our guests’ needs, we have created a playground for the little ones in our garden, and for the older ones, we provide a ping-pong table, a foosball table, and a five-a-side soccer field. This way, you can spend your days relaxing and having fun. Do you love cycling? We’ve thought of that too. We rent E-BIKES for you to venture out and discover the Tuscan landscapes.

The Pool

The agriturismo has a large private pool, nestled in the garden, reserved exclusively for our guests.
In this area, you’ll find gazebos, deck chairs, sun loungers, and even a refreshing and fragrant pine forest where you can be lulled by the birdsong, enjoying unforgettable days of relaxation in contact with nature.

The Relaxation Room

In our relaxation room, it’s easy to set your worries aside and enjoy a game of billiards or foosball, immerse yourself in reading a captivating novel while sipping good Tuscan wine, or even try your hand at playing the piano.
